That variety makes Brystol worth exploring for everyone from first-time buyers and growing families to empty nesters and buyers relocating to Florida.
Brystol at Wylder is a growing new construction community in Port St. Lucie offering something buyers don’t find in every new development: multiple homebuilders within one master-planned community. Each builder brings its own floor plans, architectural styles, included features, homesite options, pricing, incentives and approach to new home design, giving buyers more opportunities to find a home that truly fits their lifestyle and budget. Residents can enjoy resort-style amenities, trails, green spaces and convenient access to I-95 while being part of one of Port St. Lucie’s expanding new home destinations. Not sure which Brystol builder is the best fit for you? I can help you compare the differences, current incentives and available homes so you can make an informed decision before visiting the sales centers. If you're considering a new construction home in Port St. Lucie, Brystol at Wylder gives buyers something increasingly valuable: choices. Rather than being built exclusively by one homebuilder, Brystol features new single-family homes from three nationally recognized builders: Lennar, Dream Finders Homes and Meritage Homes.
Each builder brings a different approach to floorplans, homesite sizes, included features, pricing and home design. That variety makes Brystol worth exploring for everyone from first-time buyers and growing families to empty nesters and buyers relocating to Florida.
The right builder ultimately depends on what matters most to you: price, square footage, homesite size, energy efficiency, number of bedrooms, garage space, included features or how quickly you need to move.
Lennar currently offers one of the broadest selections within Brystol, with homes ranging from approximately 1,429 to 2,754 square feet across two collections: The Arbor Collection and The Oaks Collection. Current floorplans range from three to six bedrooms, giving buyers options from relatively compact single-story homes to larger two-story family homes.
The Arbor Collection provides some of the most approachable new construction options currently available in Brystol. Homes range from approximately 1,429 to 2,458 square feet, with three to six bedrooms depending on the floorplan.
Current Arbor floorplans include:
Buyers looking for additional living space and larger floorplans can also explore Lennar's Oaks Collection. Current plans range from approximately 1,824 to 2,754 square feet, with four to five bedrooms and two to three bathrooms.
Current Oaks floorplans include:
One of Lennar's recognizable selling points is its Everything's Included® approach. Rather than requiring buyers to individually upgrade many commonly requested features, Lennar includes a selection of popular features within the home. Exact finishes and included features can vary by home and homesite, so buyers should verify the specifications of the particular property they're considering.
Lennar may be a good fit for: Buyers looking for a wide selection of floorplans, an approachable entry point into Brystol, larger bedroom counts, quick move-in opportunities and a more streamlined included-feature approach.
Dream Finders Homes brings another level of variety to Brystol North, particularly for buyers who care about homesite width, garage space and larger floorplans.
Dream Finders currently separates its Brystol North offerings into 50-foot and 60-foot homesite collections, with homes ranging from approximately 1,814 to 3,628 square feet.
The 50-foot collection currently offers four floorplans ranging from approximately 1,814 to 2,519 square feet. These homes feature four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms and two-car garages.
Current floorplans include:
This collection can be especially appealing to buyers who want four bedrooms without necessarily moving into a very large home.
For buyers wanting more space, Dream Finders' 60-foot collection is where Brystol gets particularly interesting.
These floorplans currently range from approximately 2,211 to 3,628 square feet, with three to five bedrooms, two to four bathrooms and three-car garages.
Current floorplans include:
The availability of 60-foot homesites and three-car garages gives Dream Finders an important point of differentiation within the community. For buyers relocating from larger homes, needing extra vehicle storage or simply wanting more breathing room, these plans deserve a closer look.
Dream Finders Homes may be a good fit for: Buyers wanting larger homesites, three-car garage options, homes exceeding 3,000 square feet, larger households, buyers relocating from a larger property or anyone looking for more flexibility in home size.
Meritage Homes brings a different emphasis to Brystol through its Reserve Series, with a strong focus on energy-efficient new home construction.
Meritage currently advertises limited opportunities remaining within its Brystol at Wylder Reserve Series, so buyers specifically interested in a Meritage home should pay close attention to current inventory and availability.
Energy efficiency is one of Meritage's major differentiators. The builder incorporates energy-efficient features into its new homes with the goal of improving comfort and potentially reducing energy consumption compared with less efficient construction.
For Florida buyers, this can be particularly appealing. Air conditioning is a major part of everyday life in South Florida, so insulation, HVAC performance, air sealing and overall energy efficiency can matter beyond simply checking a box on a feature sheet.
Meritage's Brystol residents also have access to the community's resort-style amenities, including trails, recreation areas and the large lakefront setting.
Because remaining Meritage opportunities are limited, buyers should verify which homes, homesites and floorplans are still available before making a decision based on a particular model.
Meritage Homes may be a good fit for: Buyers who prioritize energy efficiency, newer building technologies, indoor comfort and lower-maintenance new construction, as well as buyers who prefer Meritage's design philosophy and available Reserve Series homes.
There isn't one builder that's automatically "best" for every buyer. The better question is: Which Brystol builder best fits the way you plan to live?
If keeping the initial purchase price lower is a priority, Lennar currently provides some of Brystol's more approachable starting options. If you want a wider homesite, three-car garage or a home exceeding 3,000 square feet, Dream Finders Homes deserves serious consideration. If energy-efficient construction is high on your wish list, Meritage Homes may stand out.
And sometimes the deciding factor isn't the builder at all. It may be the specific homesite, backyard orientation, floorplan, monthly payment, current builder incentive or available quick move-in home.
That's why comparing all three before signing a builder contract can be worthwhile.
Brystol isn't simply a collection of new houses. The neighborhood was planned around an active Florida lifestyle.
Brystol North and Brystol South each have their own private clubhouse, while shared amenities include pickleball courts, a dog park and playgrounds. Residents also have access to broader community amenities including lakefront recreation areas, scenic multi-use paths and pocket parks.
Brystol South amenities include a fitness center, resort-style pool with a beach-style entry and lap lanes, lighted pickleball courts, dog park areas for large and small dogs, playground, multipurpose fields and a lakefront overlook.
The natural setting is also a major part of the community's identity. Brystol North and South encompass approximately 315 acres, with significant surrounding land preserved in its natural state. Brystol North includes 512 homesites and Brystol South includes 466.
One of the most important things new construction buyers should understand is that the sales representative inside the model home represents the builder.
You can have your own real estate agent helping you compare builders, floorplans, available inventory, homesites, incentives and contract terms.
If Brystol at Wylder is on your list, I can help you compare Lennar, Dream Finders Homes and Meritage Homes side by side rather than trying to piece everything together from three different sales centers.
Builder pricing, incentives, interest-rate promotions, closing-cost contributions and available inventory can change frequently. Before you visit the models, contact me and I can help you identify the homes and builders that make the most sense for your budget and priorities.
Whether you're moving across Port St. Lucie or relocating to Florida from another state, you don't have to navigate new construction alone.

Compare Brystol Builders With Amanda
What I love about Brystol at Wylder in Port St. Lucie is that it doesn't have that "one builder, one look, repeat it down the street" feeling that some new construction communities can have. With multiple respected builders offering different floorplans, elevations, homesite sizes and design styles, there's noticeably more variety as you drive through the neighborhood. I love having choices, and even more importantly, I love when my buyers have choices. Your neighbor's house doesn't necessarily have to feel like a carbon copy of yours.
But if you know me, you know I'm going to notice the water views. Wylder was designed around lakes, waterways, preserves and open space, and in Brystol, scenic backyard lake views are actually the norm. There's just something about walking into a home, looking through those sliders and seeing water instead of another backyard staring back at you. Morning coffee on the lanai hits differently when there's a lake involved.
That's really what makes Brystol at Wylder stand out to me. You get the fresh, polished feel of new construction without sacrificing quite as much individuality or scenery. Between the different builders, the variety of homes and all that beautiful Florida water woven throughout the community, Brystol gives you room to be a little picky. And when you're choosing where to call home, I happen to think picky is a very good thing.
Before visiting a new construction sales center, contact Amanda to discuss buyer representation and current builder registration requirements. Builder policies vary, and it can be important to have your Realtor involved from the beginning.
